Day
1: Siem Reap-Kompong Phluk (L,D)
Depart Siem Reap for a one and a half hour cruise on a
converted traditional sampan to Kampong Phluk. On
arrival visit the village and then take one of the local
dugout canoes to paddle through the flooded forest near
the village. Overnight in the floating village and on
board.
Day 2: Kompong Phluk-Kompong Khleang (B,L,D)
Leave
for Kompong Khleang two and half hours away. On arrival
explore the village with its local handicraft workshops
and meet with the villagers for a meal. Overnight in the
floating village and on board.
Day 3: Kompong Khleang-Siem Reap (B,L)
Leave
after breakfast and head back towards Siem Reap stopping
for a swim in the lake and a visit to Chong Kneas on the
way back. Arrive back in Siem Reap mid-afternoon.
Note: This tour is possible from July to
February only.
